The end of one saga and the birth of another.

A Short Summary:

Three Shattered Souls continues Mai Corland’s sweeping fantasy saga with shifting alliances, dangerous magic, and characters struggling to survive the consequences of earlier choices. As old conflicts reach their breaking point, the story also begins laying the groundwork for a new chapter in the world’s history.

Filled with action, emotional moments, and political tension, the novel balances the ending of one journey while opening the door for another. Familiar characters continue to grow, especially Sora, whose determination and heart remain some of the strongest parts of the series.

My Favorite Quote from the Book:

"You are more than what you endure."

Questions to ponder while reading:

Do you seek power?

Can you rule responsibly?

My Review:

Three Shattered Souls is the kind of fantasy novel that reminds you why epic series can be so addictive. Mai Corland keeps the momentum moving with plenty of danger, twists, and emotional stakes, while still allowing the characters time to breathe and evolve.

What stood out most to me was how well the book handled transition. This story feels like both a conclusion and a beginning. Long-running threads start coming together, but the world never feels finished or closed off. Instead, it feels larger, more complicated, and ready for whatever comes next.

Sora continues to be one of my favorite characters in the series. There is something deeply likable about the way she faces hardship while still holding onto her humanity. Even when the story gets dark or chaotic, she gives the series an emotional center that keeps it grounded.

Overall, Three Shattered Souls is a fun and satisfying continuation of the saga. Fans of character-driven fantasy, magical conflict, and found-family dynamics will likely enjoy where the series goes next. It delivers adventure and emotional payoff while still leaving readers eager for more.
