My Review:

This is one of those books that leans heavily on character rather than plot, and that’s either going to work for you or it’s not.

The Q is less about what happens and more about how people think, react, and interact. Quincy’s journaling gives the story a reflective tone, and much of the interest comes from the personalities she encounters along the way.

The characters are strong-willed, sometimes frustrating, sometimes fascinating, and occasionally the kind of people who make you think, “You really just need to go outside for a bit.” That tension between introspection and reality is part of what gives the book its edge.

It’s not a fast-paced read, but it is an observant one. If you enjoy stories that focus on personality, perspective, and the small details of human behavior, there’s something here to appreciate.
