Welcome to Rite of Fancy, a literary archive dedicated to thoughtful reviews, reading adventures, and lifelong learning.

Since its founding, Rite of Fancy has reviewed more than 1,000 books spanning classics, history, philosophy, theology, science fiction, fantasy, literary fiction, biography, memoir, and general nonfiction. The goal of the site is simple: to explore great ideas, memorable stories, and books that help us better understand the world around us.

At this time, I am unlikely to accept:

• Erotica
• Books containing graphic sexual content
• AI-generated books
• Gambling guides, get-rich-quick books, or similar promotional material
• Unfinished manuscripts

Authors, publishers, and publicists are welcome to contact me regarding review opportunities.

Please include:

• Author name
• Publication date
• Genre
• Brief description or synopsis
• Link to the publisher or author website
• Format available (print, ebook, audiobook)

Submission does not guarantee a review. Due to the volume of requests and my personal reading schedule, I am unable to review every book received.
