It’s a perfect beach read. The pacing is brisk, the tone playful, and the stakes just high enough to keep you invested without weighing you down. Janis Lotter writes with confidence and humor, letting banter and bold choices drive the story forward.
And yes, this is absolutely a boozy-beverage book. It pairs well with sunshine, sand, or a long afternoon when you want entertainment with personality. Not every novel needs to be earnest or devastating; some exist to remind us that reading can be pure pleasure.
