A short summary:

Quantum Radio centers on a team of scientists at CERN who intercept a mysterious radio transmission that appears to originate from a parallel universe. As the signal is decoded, it reveals startling insights into the nature of reality, human choice, and the fragile threads that bind multiple worlds together.

What begins as a scientific anomaly quickly becomes a deeply human story, one that forces its characters to confront ethical responsibility, compassion, and the consequences of interference across realities. As the boundaries between universes blur, the novel asks a deceptively simple question: just because we can reach into another world, should we?

My review:

This novel is driven more by ideas than action, and that will appeal strongly to readers who enjoy speculative fiction grounded in big questions rather than nonstop spectacle. Riddle’s exploration of the multiverse is approachable without being simplistic, and I appreciated how the narrative repeatedly emphasizes kindness, empathy, and moral responsibility as forces just as powerful as scientific discovery.

That said, while the philosophical underpinnings are compelling, the ending didn’t fully land for me. After such careful thematic build-up, the resolution felt a bit rushed and emotionally underpowered compared to the journey that preceded it.

Still, Quantum Radio succeeds as thoughtful science fiction, one that values humanity as much as hypothesis. Readers interested in parallel worlds, ethical dilemmas, and quieter, idea-driven storytelling will likely find plenty to engage with here.
