My review:

I love **J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter universe, it’s rich, imaginative, and endlessly re-readable—and The Tales of Beedle the Bard feels like a quiet fireside corner of that world. These stories may be shorter and structurally simpler than the main series, but they are surprisingly deep, and often darker and more thoughtful than one might expect.

What makes this collection linger is its moral clarity. These are not comforting fairy tales; they are cautionary ones, unafraid to confront greed, cruelty, pride, and the cost of power. For longtime fans, this book offers more than nostalgia—it reveals the ethical framework underpinning the wizarding world itself.

Like the best fairy tales, the stories here stay with you far longer than their page count suggests, resurfacing later as questions rather than answers.
